Certified Day Camp

Winnewald, in the heart of Clinton Township, is Hunterdon's only centrally located private day camp.  Annual approval by the Hunterdon County and New Jersey Departments of Health is received.  Member, Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce.

Environment/Facilities

Winnewald is located on 30 acres close to Routes 31 and 629.  A running stream, well-maintained grounds, mature trees, heated swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis court, archery range, and athletic fields make it a desirable place for children to spend the summer.

Staff

Our staff, mainly certified teachers and college students, is selected to give your child the special attention and supervision necessary to promote a positive, Safe, and enjoyable camp experience.  Staff training in safety and working with children is ongoing.  Camper to staff ratio is approximately seven to one.  All potential staff members are personally interviewed and references verified.
